Guidance Hat, the fourth and final pattern in the New Zealand series, was designed to accent and accompany the Guidance Mitts, a beautiful combination that when worn together will spark attention.
Travelling the entire distance from brim to top is the Silver Fern pattern featured in the Guidance Mitts. A garter stitch brim frames your face with the Silver Fern pattern showcasing on your left side.

Measurements are based on head circumference
Fitted hat is 20 cm/8” in height
Slouchy hat is 28 cm/11” in height

  • Fingering Weight Yarn 153 m/167 yds
  • Specific yarn used Zealana Kauri Fingering one 40g skein. Small K-05 Ponga Fern, Medium K02-Kea and Large K17-Pohutukawa
  • Choose a yarn that has some loft, such as, alpaca, mohair or possum.
