Guidance Mitts, the third pattern in the New Zealand series, feature a garter stitch cuff with a fern leaf pattern growing upwards and branching off to the left and right. These mitts mirror each other making each hand distinctive. The thumb is formed along with the mitt then seamed as a final step, eliminating the awkwardness of knitting the thumb in the round with so few stitches.

Hand Circumference and Length:
18 cm (7”) by 20 cm (8”)

Zealana Kauri Fingering is a plied soft yarn with a
fuzzy texture, producing a beautiful halo after blocking. This light open textured yarn is perfect for creating a pair of mitts that fit a wide variety of hand sizes, magically.
