Guinea Fowl
The head and facial features of the guinea fowl are needle felted onto the knitted head of the toy with a felting needle and fleece. The pattern is 10 pages long and has detailed photos of the needle felting process:)
I just adore these birds and because I live in South Africa, I have always wanted to write a pattern for one. I have knitted this pattern with the magic loop technique, but it can also be knitted in the round on Double Pointed Needles.
She is a charming little bird…..
