This versatile cowl design will quickly become the chill-chaser of choice. Knit in a combination of cable panels and simple garter stitch, the cowl is a great project for those new to cables, as well as the seasoned knitter. The generous length allows for styling options, whether wrapping once or twice around the neck. If desired, the cowl can also be worked as an open scarf by working a cable cast-on and binding off in pattern.
