Guld is a cropped mohair sweater with a beautiful bow detail on the neck. It can be used either way round, the bow on the back or front. For an extra touch, you can add embroidered flowers.

The sweater is worked holding together two strands of mohair. Guld is an easy sweater to knit with a traditional raglan design, making it suitable also for beginners.

Finished bust circumference: 82.5 (89.5) 101 (110.5) 120 cm / 33 (35.75) 40.5 (44.25) 48”.

Ease: Suggested positive ease on bust circumference 5 cm / 2”. Pictured in size S.

Length from underarm to hem: Approx. 35 cm / 13.75”. The length can easily be altered to your own liking (the raglan length is longer for the bigger sizes; therefore, the total length of the sweater will also be longer).

Upper arm circumference: 32 (33) 34 (35.5) 37.5 cm / 12.75 (13.25) 13.75 (14.25) 15”.

Sleeve length from underarm: 42 (43) 44 (45) 46 cm / 16.5 (17) 17.5 (17.75) 18.25”. The length can easily be altered to your own liking.

Gauge: 17 sts x 24 rnds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in Stockinette St using 5 mm (US 8) needles holding together two strands of mohair, after blocking.

Needles: 4 mm (US 6) and 5 mm (US 8) circular needles, 4 mm (US 6) DPNs. For the knitted bow you need 4 mm (US 6)
long circular needles.

Yarn: 150 (175) 200 (225) 250 g Canard Brushed Lace Mohair (72% kid mohair, 28% mulberry silk – 210 m / 230 yds / 25 g), colour 3005 Sand, for the knitted bow and embroidered flowers you need additional 25 g.

Notions: 8 stitch markers, stitch holders or scrap yarn, tapestry needle. Silk/satin fabric if you are making a silk bow.
