This garment is meant to be worn with 4-12” / 10-30.5 cm of negative ease. I recommend the lower end of the size range to aim for 4-8” / 10-20 cm of negative ease, and the upper end of the size range to aim for 8-12” / 20-30.5 cm of negative ease. I am pictured wearing the size Small with 5” / 13 cm of negative ease.

Gauge:
18 stitches & 34 rows/4” on a US 6 / 4mm, in garter stitch in the round and/or flat, blocked.
If you are working the top in the round, you will be alternating a knit row with a purl row, so this gauge could vary significantly from working garter stitch flat. I recommend working your swatch in the round or at least double checking your gauge once you have worked about an inch or so on the tank top.
