With this amount of yarn you will be able to play around with the colour work a little and add more stripes of the contrast or knit the edging in the contrast, if desired

Pattern Notes
This shawl is knitted flat using a variation on garter stitch to add texture. A knitted on lace and cable edging is worked at the end; this type of edging has the added bonus of also casting off stitches at the same time. The shawl is quite deep, if you wish to work a shallower shawl then omit four repeats of section 1, instead work extra repeats of sections 2 and 3.
