- Yarn: 100g (150m) of Sonomono Alpaca Wool = 3 skeins
- Needles: Japanese size 10 (5.1mm)
- Hook: Japanese size 8/0 (5.0mm) - used to work the bobbles
- Pompom: rabbit fur (off the shelf), 9cm in diameter
The bottom edge of the ribbed brim is sewn to the inside bottom of the first stockinette row.
