This cap was born of necessity--I wear my hair up in a hairclip (an old banana clip) and I don’t have a hat that fits over the clip—UNTIL NOW!

The pattern requires steeking. Detailed instructions are given for that process—and where it would have taken pages and pages of pictures, I’ve linked to webpages and videos that help.

You’ll need one ball of Charisma for an adult M-L woman’s head (my head measures 22”/57cm). Need smaller? Try on while you’re knitting. When the bonnet reaches from your forehead to the back of your head—stop and start seaming the back.

The Arucania is listed for the button band--you will need a lighter-weight/wool-based yarn.

Email if you have trouble with the pattern and I’ll send out an update! Happy to help.
