The Half-Blood Prince – crowns, snakes & duality! The finished socks have 6 crowns in honor of the HBP being the 6th book in the Harry Potter series. On either side of the crowns, we have a snake-like cable to represent Slytherin, while either side of the cable has moss versus purl stitches to show his duality. He is half muggle, half magical… good and bad… bitterly sarcastic yet intensely loyal. He is a complex character – as such, he deserves a challenging pattern!
