This the PDF pattern for my Half Cable Shawl design, a lovely warm triangular shawl that features a panel of stocking stitch followed by several rows of cabling, ending in a garter stitch border.

To make up this pattern you will need an 80cm-100cm long circular needle - 6.5mm, and approx 400-500m of the aran (or worsted weight) yarn of your choice. It is an easy pattern for those used to cabling, but I think a good introduction to cables for those less experienced too.

This is a written pattern only, with no charts.
