Developed for the inaugural Genesee Valley Handspinners Guild “Batts to Hats” competition in February, 2012. Pattern appears on p. 4 of the download. Uses 4 oz. super-bulky handspun yarn (spun ~3 wraps per inch, knit at 3 sts = 2”), and a size 19 circular needle (ideally 16” long--or a longer needle used “Magic Loop” fashion). A team of two can whip one of these up in 30 minutes; working alone, you might need 45. :-D Just as cute worn inside-out--a terrific stashbuster!!
