Like many of Jill’s patterns, this pullover may be made in many weights of yarn using different needle sizes to achieve a reasonably firm gauge. You don’t even need to knit a swatch for this one! Front and back panels are knit on the diagonal, stitches are picked up to knit the sleeves, yoke and side panels. Fit may be customized by adding width at the side.

Choose a yarn that will not bias:
• The body panel is knitted diagonally, corner-to-corner. If your yarn tends to bias, you’ll get a parallelogram, instead of a rectangle.

Sized in 2” increments from 36” to 64”, this pullover may be knit at any gauge between 3-6 stitches per inch/2.5 cm. The gauge should be firm due to the stretchiness of the diagonal panels. Yardage requirements, needle size & yarn weight listed are for a gauge of 4 st per inch/2.5 cm.
