The carts in the book are given for half the pattern only, going from one side to the center stitch. After you’ve knit the center stitch (“midja”), you need to knit the other half as the mirror image of the first half, reversing the SSk and 2tog stitches accordingly. The book comes with translations, but the text is scarse, at least by the standards of English-written patterns.
