I am not much of a lace knitter. I appreciate the intricacy and beauty of it but lace rarely seems to mesh well with my wardrobe or personal style. Halle was designed with just the right amount of elegance to satisfy the desire to make exquisite, delicate shawls, but is tempered to coordinate with less formal attire.

Part of the fun of Halle is that the body can be knit one of three ways. Choose the garter or stockinette versions to show off semi-solid or kettle dyed yarns. Choose the pooling texture stitch, designed to work perfectly with variegated yarn, and manipulate color pooling to your advantage. The lacy, elongated stitch border finishes each shawl with a touch of edgy elegance.
