This Halloween Edition contains 3 different patterns of halloween pumpkins.

Abbreviations
K = knit
P = purl
Sts = stitches
Kfb = knit into front and back of stitch
K2tog = knit 2 together
P2tog = purl 2 together
K3tog = knit 3 together
CO = cast on
RND = round
St st = stockinette stitch. Odd-numbered rows – knit. Even-numbered rows – purl.
Sl = slip

DCD = double center decrease

How to knit double center decrease:
1. Slip two stitches from the left needle onto the right
needle.

  1. Knit one stitch.
  2. Pass both slipped stitches over the knitted stitch and off the needles. Two stitches decreased.

C2F= Cable 2 forward: put next 2 stitches on cable needle at front of work, knit 2, knit the 2 from the cable needle.
C3F= Cable 3 forward: put next 3 stitches on cable needle at front of work, knit 3, knit the 3 from the cable needle.
C4F= Cable 4 forward: put next 4 stitches on cable needle at front of work, knit 4, knit the 4 from the cable needle.
C5F = Cable 5 forward: put next 5 stitches on cable needle at front of work, knit 5, knit the 5 from the cable needle.
C6F = Cable 6 forward: put next 6 stitches on cable needle at front of work, knit 6, knit the 6 from the cable needle.

Materials needed
• 4 double-pointed needles size US 6 (4mm).
• Melange yarn for big pumpkin. I used Nako Vals /100% akrylic; 100 gr – 240 mt./ Weight: Worsted (9 wpi). 3 theads held together.
• Yellow, Green, and orange colored yarns for pumpkins. I used Nako Sport Wool ( 25% Wool, 75% Acrylic; 100gr = 120m ). Weight: Bulky (7 wpi)
• Yarn needle
• Stitch marker
• Toy stuffing

All rows are worked in the round, this helps avoid ugly seams .
