Halter Top
by Jill Gutman Schoenfuss

Halter Top
A combination of intarsia and basketweave stitch are used together to create this halter top, which is knit on the bias. The garter stitch blocks and the stockinette stitch blocks are knitted in two different yarns to enhance the woven effect of the basketweave stitch. Further textural interest is created by using a ribbon yarn and a cotton blend yarn. Another interesting detail is the jagged edge of the halter top. It is finished off with I-cord ties for closure at the neck and back.
