This pattern is for a hamantaschen cookie traditionally eaten on the Jewish holiday of Purim. But, you don’t have to be Jewish to enjoy this triangle shaped cookie!

My original pattern uses two colors of yarn with a unique method for assembly. Detailed instructions with photo guides are provided.
Perfect for including in mishloach manot baskets, for children, and even kitties like playing with them.

As pictured, this pattern uses worsted weight (#4) yarn and makes a cookie that is about 3 inches wide. Feel free to use other weights of yarn to make your cookie a different size, and change up the colors to make your favorite flavors.

Also uses a small amount of batting to stuff the cookie.
