Hanae
Hanae is a great introduction to “true” knitted lace — that is, where every row contains pattern stitches — because it’s worked in the round. Note: this pattern contains only charts for the lace patterns. The pattern does NOT contain line-by-line narrative instructions for the lace patterns.
Wear it slouchy, as in the photo, or block it over a 12‐inch plate and wear it as a tam. You can also decrease or increase the amount of slouch by working Chart B fewer or more times.
Note: Gauge and needle sizes listed are for the smaller size. For the larger size, suggested needle sizes are US 5 (3.75mm) and US 3 (3.25mm) to achieve a gauge of 22st/30rows = 4 inches.
