Hanami Dango (花見団子) is a dessert that is often had during the Spring. Hanami Dango is made up of 3 different colours of mochi, skewered together in a specific order. The pink ball goes on top, the white in the middle, and the green one at the bottom. There isn’t much flavour to the pink and white mochi balls, but the green one is often flavoured with mugwort puree (or matcha because it’s easier to source).
