These hand warmers measure about 10 cm² and can be heated in a microwave. Only the removable covers are knitted, the bags inside are made with fabric and filled with rice or other grains.

The covers are each knitted with about 10g of 4 ply yarn. Instructions are included for a plain cover and two broken stripe versions - using two and three colours.
