‘Handspun Hottie’ is a hot water bottle cover knitting pattern, designed specifically for one skein of Handspun DK to Light Worsted weight yarn (10-11wpi). However, this cover would look equally as nice in any other DK/Light Worsted weight yarn.

This cover can be knit with a short or long ribbed collar, depending on your preference and how many yards of handspun yarn you have available in your skein. It is knit from the bottom up, seamlessly, using circular knitting needles. It can also be knit on Double Pointed Needles if this your preference.

You will need:

  • One skein of handspun yarn - DK/Light Worsted
  • 3.5mm (US4) Knitting Needles or size needed to obtain gauge)
  • Two Stitch Markers
  • Tapestry Needle
  • A Hot Water Bottle of Standard Size!
