I designed this pattern using my own Handspun yarn so Yarn weight and needle size given are very approximate and you should select a needle size appropriate to your Handspun.
Having said that, gauge is not very important for this pattern, all you need to do is to ensure you knit a firm fabric that won’t allow the stuffing to poke through.
Finished size and required yardage will vary, but to give some idea my finished dino used around 20grams of DKish weight Handspun and is 7 inches long.
