HANGING BASKETS

Made from sturdy macramé yarn, these homely baskets come in three sizes and with three different rim-heights per size. So, in total nine different sizes. That should cover every need. :)

They can be put to use in lots of places:
kitchen, bathroom, wardrobe, kid’s room, or just for decoration.

If you like you can pep up the baskets with ribbons, big buttons, embroidery, or simply by using multiple colors per basket. Make them your own! :)

All steps are explained in detail in words and pictures, so this pattern is suitable for (practiced) beginners as well.
This pattern contains 8 pages of crochet instructions and 4 pages of detailed step-by-step instructions.

Used techniques (US crochet terms): magic ring, chain, slip stitch, single crochet, increases and (invisible) decreases, crocheting in back loops – explained.
The baskets are crocheted in continuous rounds/spirals.

With 9.0 mm hook and 4 mm macramé yarn the baskets get to be 20 cm, 24 cm, & 28 cm wide (the height is variable due to the different rim-heights).

You need it smaller or bigger? No problem! Simply use lighter or heavier yarn.
Your hook size needs to be adjusted accordingly then.
