This pattern begins with the traditional dc stitches at the crown and for the first 6 rows. I added my own special touches for the balance of this beanie….I always have to be different!

This beanie done up in bulky wt. yarn is sized for teens to the adult woman and will fit most average sized heads. It fits mine perfectly!

Gauge information is on the label of your yarn. I just picked up my hook and my yarn choice and I don’t crochet tight nor do I crochet loose. I can tell you however….when you are sl stitching the last row, do so loosely….for any pattern, or it will not feel good on your head!

You need 1 skein of bulky yarn, chunky yarn…I love Deborah Norville’s yarn, a dream to work with…but feel free to use your favorite. The skein says a K hook, I used a J hook. Use what works for you.

Should you feel like making yours a solid color, and picking up the base of the beanie in another, by all means do so! Would be beautiful!

I also included the pattern for a Rose. You do not have to use that pattern, use what you like, but it is a nice pattern!

Enjoy your pattern, and please honor my registered copyright. This pattern should not be shared, or sold as yours. Make as many hats as you wish and sell them! A link back to me would be nice! :)
