Our sweet creative photographer and model is courageous in the face of daunting circumstances.

Hannah, who is 25 years old, was informed she needed to have an operation to remove a portion of her brain. Despite heart and blood issues, the procedure was deemed a necessary step in the hopes of helping our friend Hannah move forward in life.

The pattern was created out of admiration for her gentle strength, like the sturdy lace cables of the hat. Her calm, unwavering resolve is like the well defined braided edge transitioning the brim to the hat body. Her moments of vulnerability and introspection are like the rolled edge of the brim, tucking in on itself, retreating, Her courage leaves me in awe.
This simple hat is dedicated to her courage of which I wish I had even the smallest of portions.

Funds raised from this pattern will be given to Hannah to help offset the expenses this surgery creates.
