Hansel & Gretel are off to the Blind Witch’s house…and they are wearing their favorite hat along the way.

This fun hat is intended to be made with bulky yarn for a quick knit and with bright colors to show off the front braid! The Latvian Braid is knitted in the flat and then continued in St st. topped with a tassel and some braids. Perfect for anyone who wants to knit a fun pixie style hat with a little more difficulty than just a knit/purl combo.

Pattern is for newborn size, but has directions for determining other sizes…even for grown-ups!

Note: the hat pictured is a newborn size, however my daughter wanted to wear it and she’s almost 2 :)
