I love Ysolda’s Gretel beret (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/gretel or http://www.ysolda.com) and wanted matching mittens. Hansel has a lattice cable pattern inspired by Gretel, with a little twist of its own.

Pattern includes both large charts for the cables, and line-by-line instructions.

The mittens have a 8” / 20cm hand circumference and are 9.5” / 24 cm long. For smaller mittens, knit to a tighter gauge.
