Have you ever shopped for yarn and found exactly what you were looking for, only to be torn between two colors? Unable to decide, do you wish you could knit them both, striping them in a pleasing design?

Well, I have the solution for you! The Happy Blend Cowl harmoniously marries two colors using the Fibonacci numbering sequence in the row count. Both colors fall into an attractive arrangement, found often in nature, starting with one color and ending with the second color.

The cowl is 5” wide x 52” in circumference. It can be worn as a loop or doubled at the neck.
Gauge is 3.5 sts. per inch.

The color sequence is based on Fibonacci numbers.
(A series of whole numbers in which each number is the sum of the two preceding numbers. Beginning with 0 and 1, the sequence of Fibonacci numbers would be 0,1,1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, etc.) This sequence appears often in nature in flower petals, sunflower seeds, pinecones, the nautilus shell and so many other examples.
