Just in time for Hanukkah! A newly designed pattern to crochet a giant soft dreidel! I started out to create a smaller cousin to my Giant Plush Dreidel pattern, but I liked how the different stitch combinations looked and how nicely the colors were coming together, so I just kept going. The result is this new giant plushie Dreidel pattern that I love as much as the one I designed last year! Crocheted in colorful worsted weight yarn and stuffed with fiber-fill, this plush stuffed dreidel measures just under 12” tall (not including the handle which is about 3” tall), 8” wide across each square, and over 30” in diameter (at fullest part). Measurements will vary with your gauge and stuffing. Blue, with Ivory, Gold, Green and Red accents. Fun to make and a great fun decoration for your home or to give as a gift!

Materials
Red Heart Super Saver Yarn, 1 skein each of: Light Periwinkle (Blue) about 150 yds used; Aran (Ivory) 60 yds; Gold 50 yds; Tea Leaf (Green) 30 yds; Cherry Red (Red) 20 yds.

G Hook, Large Tapestry Needle, Fiber Fill – 20 oz bag, Stitch markers (optional), Yarn pins (optional)

Skill Level – Intermediate. Shaping and joining experience helpful.

Gauge - not important for this project. For Single Crochet, about 7 stitches and 7 rows equal 2”. Red Heart Super Saver is a little heavier than most worsted yarns, so if you use a different yarn, your work may come out a little smaller.
