If there’s one time of the year when you can really maximize the coziness, it’s Christmas. Put on some lovely Christmas music, pour something warming and spicy into your cup, add some Christmas cookies to the mix, and curl up on the sofa with your Christmas knit!

One size. Finished and blocked socks measure:
Length of the foot: approx. 22.5 cm/8.9”.
Circumference: approx. 21 cm/8.3”.
Size can be adjusted by using smaller or larger sized needles or thinner or thicker yarn.

Approximate weight needed (if sticking to gauge):
MC: 30 g
CC1: 25 g
CC2: 20 g

CC4: 10 g

(One ball of yarn: 100gr = 425 meters/465 yards or 50 g = 210 meters/230 yards). Or any other yarn of the same weight, pre­ferably a woolmix for socks, to make them more durable.

Needles: Magic loop or double pointed needles size 2 mm/US 0 and 2.75 mm/US 2, or whichever size needle is suitable for achieving gauge or change size. If you use magic loop, a cable of about 60-80 cm/25-30” is sufficient.

A piece of scrap yarn in a contrasting colour

Gauge for colourwork:
Approx. 34 st/37 rows = 10 cm/4”.
