This is the knitting pattern PDF to make hare and tortoise. A similar pattern was published in Knit Now magazine in June 2017, Issue 75. This is a revised version, using commercial DK yarn.

All parts are knitted flat and sewn up at the end. You do not need to knit in circles.
Knitting skills required are simple knit and purl.

Size: both about 10cm long

Materials
For Hare
• 15g white DK (8-ply)
• Small amount of dark brown DK
• Strong white cotton thread
• Stuffing
For tortoise
• 10g yellow-green DK
• 8g fawn DK
• Small amount of dark brown DK
• stuffing
Tools
• A pair of 3.0mm knitting needles (US 2-3)
• Chenille needle or tapestry needle with fairly sharp point
• Scissors
