Harju-Jaani mittens

The story behind the mittens: an employee of the museum visited the local market at 1920 and there was man from Harju-Jaani county, Jyri Alve, who sold those mittens to the museum. The pattern is called Must rutuline kiri and the mittens were knitted by his wife Mrs Alve.

The key:
beezh - means “beige”
must - means “black”
p - means purl, empty box (can be beige or black) means knit.
