Relatively easy and intuitive to knit, once basic Brioche techniques have been achieved, “Hartpiece” will keep the wearer warm and cozy on those “frosty” days and will become a well loved accessory piece.

The cowl is circularly knit and starts and ends with a Stocking Stitch border, which naturally curls to the outside.
A lightweight silk mohair is held with the main yarn, giving it an extra luxurious
look and feel.

The pattern includes both written and charted instructions.

Suitable for Advanced Beginner/Intermediate Knitters.

Just like the early morning mist rising from the villages of Exmoor in my beloved Devonshire homeland, the silk/mohair used in “Hartpiece” gives off a mystical “halo”.
Hartpiece Farm is where my Mum spent many of her happy childhood days and the farm is situated in Hartpiece Wood, North Devon U.K.
