Harvest Acres Socks are a simple top down sock using the traditional Shetland pattern called Broken Acre. They are knit in 75/25 wool/nylon superwash hand-dyed sock yarn from Pat Dozier in Terra Cotta (available Here).

Since I like to keep my socks simple and not fussy to knit, I use the Square heel which does use the flap but does not require any short row shaping at the base of the heel.

The toe can be finished with either a kitchener closing or by simply decreasing until a few stitches remain and cinching up The stitches.
