Happy Beginning of Autumn! To celebrate, my Harvest Pumpkin Crochet Pattern will be discounted for a short time! Please enjoy! All I ask in return is be my tester/editor and to let me know of any questions, errors or concerns you find in the pattern. Thank you so much!

Adorable knit-look pumpkin crocheted using back loop only slip stitches. The thing I like about pumpkins is that they are all different, and none are perfect, so any lumps, bumps, or other oddities that may result make these look even better. And these are easy to customize to make a cute little assorted display.

Customizing is easy. Try different yarn weights, try adding or subtracting length to/from your rows (ie, begin with a starting chain of 16, then adjust each row by 5 sts) add or subtract pattern repeats, or simply use more or less stuffing. Close top more or less tightly.

Following the pattern as written with worsted weight yarn and a J hook will result in a pumpkin approximately 4-5 inches across and about 3-4 inches tall. It all depends on how much you fill, whether or not you choose to “squash” it, and several other factors. Each one will look different!
