Harvey’s Blanket is knit in a ‘british breeds yarn’ It uses simple lace and a mock cable that flows together at the beginning and end of the middle pattern.

300/420/600/800/1100/1400/1750/2000/2400m DK weight yarn

Yarn used: Artesano British Wool, DK Blue Faced Blend in Beryl 5 x 110m.

This yarn is quite ‘fluffy’ and is better knit slightly loose in this pattern.

For a smoother yarn 3.75-4mm needles may be suitable. This would slightly reduce the yardage and size.

4.5mm needles
Yarn needle.
Tension measured across whole blanket. The garter stitch section has a larger tension to the main sections, so measure your tension across the main pattern.

20sts and 30 rows to 10cm after blocking
