Simple, fast and fun, the Hasten Hat makes a great quick knit for all levels of knitters. It is a low-stress project for beginning knitters who want to practice short rows, but still enjoyable for experienced knitters. The hat is knit in the round from the top down. The earflaps are created using short rows in garter stitch, while the top of the hat is worked in stockinette stitch. This is a great project for beginners! It includes a short row photo tutorial. Need a project you can knit in a hurry? Try the Hasten Hat.
