This hat is knit in a really soft, warm, machine washable acrylic yarn,perfect for those sensitive to wool, but it can also be knit in 100% pure wool, or a wool mix yarn.
This pattern is suitable for beginners, and includes basic stitches, knit on straight needles and seamed when complete.
You need to know - knit, purl, yarn over, knit 2 together, make 3 from one (knit, yarn over, knit).
This hat will fit a child or a teenager (adult) using the same number of stitches but changing a gauge.
Measure child’s head at 19 ½ in a round (or teen / adult at 21 ½”)
Yarn: Sports weight acrylic or similar weight cotton.
Needles: 2 US / 2.75 mm for child’s size (or 4 US / 3.5mm for teen / adult)
