To make the hat brims hold the shape and not hang down, I crocheted the regilin boning twine in the last course of double crochet. I used one twine but I took two lengths of brims circumference and just rolled in double ring. I attached the twine edges together by way of melting them above the candle. (If you have never done it before, I advise you to train.)
The brims circumference should be measured precisely to the maximum extent because if the regilin is larger, the brims will look like waves, and if the regilin is smaller, they will remind the bell.
