Inspired by its big brother, the Cloud Dragon Scarf, this little cowl will safely protect its wearer from chilly weather! Pattern includes story, written instructions, and 2 page chart.

Interested in the Cloud Dragon Scarf MKAL? It’s not too late to join! Check out the official thread here, and the spoiler thread here! There’s no requirement to finish your project by the end of the MKAL, I’m sure we’ll still be active long after the final clue releases :3

Other notes ~
Pattern uses approximately 100 yards of each color fingering weight yarn. Some chart reading experience is recommended. Final dimensions are 25” around by 5” tall, perfect for covering your neck!

Possible Modifications ~

I added a page to the download with 3 variations you can make of the cowl ~

  1. Double-Dragon Taller Cowl
  2. Multi-Dragon Longer Cowl
  3. Scarf Variations

These are untested, but it never hurts to have more options!
The pattern can also be modified for a headband if using smaller needles, you’ll need a gauge of approximately 16 sts/24 rows for this modification.
You can also make this cowl with a heavier weight yarn such as a worsted or aran weight using 3.75 mm needles.
