“Hattie” has a little bit of Hawaii in her. She’s got cute embellished pigtails and wears a lei with sweet flower buttons. You can also braid her pigtails or give her one big ponytail. Kokeshi dolls are traditionally made out of wood with simple lines which makes them ideal for making into amigurumi. This is an easy pattern that does not use a lot of yarn.

The finished doll measures 4 1/2 inches tall and 4 inches wide.

You’ll need:
Worsted Weight yarn in colors of your choice
Polyester fiberfill stuffing
Pair of black safety eyes, size 9 (optional)
Buttons or beads to decorate lei
