Havasu Falls is a crescent shaped shawl that transitions from a solid stockinette fabric to a beautiful lace border and is perfect for gradient yarns. It is knit from the top down and is easily customizable to get the size you want! The lace pattern can be started at any point. Instructions for customizing it are included.

Both charted and full written instructions are included.

The lace pattern has no rest rows so you must be comfortable with lace patterning on both sides. The end result is worth it!

Finished Size
72 inches x 16 inches (size is dependent upon gauge and how severely you block it)

Suggested Yarn: Knitwhits Freia Ombré Lace, 75% wool, 25% nylon, color: Ice Queen (1 skein)

Yarn Requirements: approx 645 yards of lace weight yarn (sample used almost an entire skein of Freia Ombré Lace)

Needles: US size 4 (3.5 mm) needles (or size to obtain gauge)

Notions: yarn needle, stitch markers, blocking pins/wires

Gauge
27.5 sts and 38 rows/4 inches in stockinette st (unblocked). 22 sts and 45 rows/4 inches in stockinette st (blocked). Gauge is not crucial since this is not a fitted garment but changes in gauge can affect both the size of the shawl and the amount of yarn required to complete it.
