SKILLS: Working in the round, increasing, decreasing, short rows.

Hawkes is worked from the top down, beginning at the back. The left and right fronts are picked up from the CO edge of the back and are knit separately and then joined at the bottom of the front neck scoop. The front is then worked alone until it is joined to the back at the underarms. The body is worked in one piece to the hem. Sleeves are picked up from the armhole openings. The cap is shaped with short rows, and the rest of the sleeve is worked in the round down to the cuffs.

ERRATA:
10/15/14 -- Page 4, Sleeves, after Begin Short Rows, Row 2 should read: “P to 1st marker, slm, p7 (8, 9, 9, 10, 11), w+t.”
