Rita Hayworth was an extremely beautiful woman. From the way she dressed, to the way she wore her hair, to the way she carried herself, she always looked glamorous. This shawlette was designed to capture the essence of that glamour, which came so easily to her and so many actresses in the earlier 20th century.

Pattern includes both written and charted directions.

Version 2 of the pattern was released 9/1/09. Errata for version 1 follow:

  1. Section 1, Row 9, should read “rep from * to 15 sts before end,” not 13. (Not changed in Version 2.)
  2. Section 1, Row 11, should read “rep from * to 9 sts before center st,” not 5.
  3. Section 2, Row 3, is missing two YOs, one after the center st, and one 6 sts before the end of the row.
  4. Section 3, Row 1, is missing two YOs on either side of the center st, and should also read “5 sts before end, k2, yo, k3,” not center.
  5. Section 3, Row 11, the sts directly after the center st should be “yo, ssk, yo, k3, yo, k2tog…”
