  • SKILL LEVEL - Intermediate (Requires knowledge of sl st, hdc and working in the back loop only. Knowledge of working in the 3rd lp is helpful, but not required).

  • SIZE - Cowl shown measures 22” around and approximately 10” tall.

  • YOU WILL NEED -

  • 250 yards Heavy Worsted (#4) or Light Bulky (#5) weight yarn. You will need about 190 yards of the MC and 60 yards of the CC. I used a color-changing yarn for the CC, but you can also use a single color or scrap yarn!

I used We Are Knitters Petite Wool in Ivory for the MC and King Cole Riot Chunky in Turkish Delight for the CC.

If you’d like to try a different yarn weight for this cowl, feel free! The pattern is written so you can easily substitute any yarn weight or hook size for your cowl!

  • A 6mm (Size J) crochet hook, or size to obtain desired fabric drape.

  • Yarn needle and scissors
