This vest, pop over is knitted in one piece from the bottom up, you will then pick up stitches around the neckline, no seaming required. This pattern would be suitable for the advanced beginner or Intermediate knitter. Worked in a 10 ply worsted yarn this garment knits up quickly. Pattern comes with a schematic and has been test knitted and Technical edited.

MATERIALS REQUIRED - Medium weight Worsted, Afghan, Aran yarn (10 ply), 100% Virgin wool Merino
One pair 4.5mm (US 7 : UK 7) long straight needles
One set 4mm (US 6 : UK 8) double-pointed needles or a circular needle 40cm (16 in) long.

YARN SUGGESTION:
Pictured garments were knitted in Cascade Longwood 100% superwash extrafine merino wool 175m (191 yds) per 100 gram ball. A suitable substitute would be Lana Grossa Cool Wool Big - Colour Taupe 686 120m / 132yds
