This Pattern is deceptively simple and ideal for an intermediate beginner who would like to try cabling - your friends won’t believe that you made this because it looks complicated but isn’t!
An ideal practice pieces for new knitters as it requires no shaping, allowing you to concentrate on the pattern alone.

To make the headband you will need 1 pair 10mm knitting needles (US size 15), a cable needle and 49yds (45m) Super Chunky yarn that knits to a gauge of 9sts x 12 rows = 4” x 4” (10 x 10cm). I used Sirdar Big Softie, but Drops Eskimo is also good - you only need 1 skein of either to make the headband.

All of my patterns are professionally edited and contain detailed instructions, colour photos throughout and graphs for you to follow.
