Heads-Turn Tunic It’s hard to have a favorite design (like having a favorite child?). But if I could, this would be it. It is based on a dress I bought on a knitting cruise that took me to Amsterdam. (You really should try one of these whenever your life affords it!) The original doesn’t fit me well, was an unflattering color, and was made from yarns we knitters would think of as inferior. But the style was something I knew I had to play with. And play I did! I hope I can encourage you in your pattern drafting by confessing that I knit each front at least three times before I had the shaping right. That’s just the way it goes sometimes, and you should not be discouraged. The final result was definitely worth the work. Heads turn when I wear this!
