Inspired by a friend’s medical research, these socks replicate the intricate entanglement of peripheral axon bundles, with unexpectedly elegant results.

Starting with a cable rib cuff, these socks follow long tendrils of twisted cables that cascade down the leg and foot, while strings of baubles tumble over the cables like cold-water pearls. A rounded Welsh heel and a traditional flat toe finish them off.

This pattern is written over 4 pages, consisting of clear and detailed instruction, both charted and written. There are also instructions for working a cable-needle-less cable -- something I love and cherish and feel should be loved and cherished the world over.
